Should there be one world language that everyone speaks?

    Nowadays, there are many languages in the world. So when there is summit meeting, most people use a translator to communicate. So sometimes, there is error to understand because of difference of languages and cultures. Therefore, there should be one world language hat everyone can speak for conenience of communication, equality for any tribes or nations.

    First, if we use one world language, we can communicate easily than before. As I said first, there can be error because languages used in many countries are different, and there are different cultures. For example, in some countries, they regard posture of V as an insult, but it is just posture in another countries when they take pictures. There are useful translator in recent days so we don't have to one language, but there are a time lag to listen, understand, and answer. So we need to one world language for convenience of communication.

    Also, one world language can cause equality for many countries. If most countries use one world language, differences of culture cannot be existed because they have one language and one same culture. Some people says that the reason of inequality between developing countries and advanced countries is not language and culture but financial level. However, the financial level is originated in difference of culture. So if they use one word, developing countries can imitiate policy of advanced countries.

    Some people worry that if they use one language, some languages will vanish. But they can get many advantages and strength to use one same language. So there should be one world language that everyone can speaks.

Who Can Be a Writer of Korean History

 

   

    Today, government-published textbooks are becoming the topic of conversation in South Korea. Government-published textbooks, history textbooks that are directly published and edited by government, have not been used since the years of President Park Jung-hee. The reason why many people oppose the plan is if history books are written by the government, they would be not neutral but biased. The government, however, pushed ahead with the plan because books published by private companies are the Left opposed to the government. Eventually, government-published textbooks plan was defined on December 3^rd. Most people, including history scholars, dissent history narrated by the government because of guarantee of diversity of history, retrogression of public sentiment, and opposite of UN. 
   
     Basically, diversity of history should be ensured. History textbooks are secondary historical sources which process primary sources. Secondary historical materials are the products that historical facts are added to history scholars' viewpoint so that many different views on one event can exist. However, the plan of government is the integration of every viewpoints. There can be people who think private books are left-side. However, history is written by assessment of past people. Thus the opinion is not true. Advanced countries can be examples. America, China, Japan, Canada, Australia and Western European countries such as England, Germany, France use an official approval or free issue system history textbooks which randomly use any textbooks. While government-published textbooks are used by despotic states like North Korea, or countries who cannot afford to publish private books financially such as Bangladesh or Mongolia. It is retrogressive that South Korea, an economical advanced and democratic country, uses government-published textbooks.
     After government announced the plan, professors oppose writing textbooks, teachers oppose teaching with these books, and students oppose studying from glorification history books. Popular sentiment is negative on government-published textbooks. According to a poll about government-published textbooks, opposition to the plan is 52.7%, and agreement is 41.7%. Also there is another result to focus on, according to survey of 1,010 history teachers who are teaching history directly, opposition is 98.6%. Like this, the publics, even teachers who teach history, dissent government-published textbooks that government is producing. This is historic retrogression that deny negative facts such as Pro-Japanese or dictatorship of public sentiment.

    In a 2013 UN general meeting special report, they disagree with unified history textbooks for this reason; unification history education led by nation can be dangerous because it can be a means for indoctrinating people with a certain ideology. The UN advised to Vietnam to abolish government-published textbooks on this year, so they accepted, and decided to change the authorized textbooks. Like this, the UN, an international main establishment, also reasons that unified textbooks have danger of distorting of history and they have announcesd the dangerous sufficiently. Thus, it seems to be South Korea need to back private textbooks.

             Nowadays, worldwide news reports on the government-published textbooks of South Korea. For example, the New York Times said South Korea government reflect on social thought in textbooks, return to past. South Korea is democratic country, so we ought to return official approval textbooks, and learn a fair history education not glorified dictatorship and Pro-Japanese.





Innovation

   Nowadays, as techinques are developing, many useful products are invented. One of them, a 3D printer is emerging from many different fields. This machine is invented by the Company of 3D Systems in U.S. A 3D printer is a machine that makes cubic shape of real products based on three-dimensional blueprint made by computer designing program. In the old days, there are little materials so the machine could not develop so that much. However, in recent days, as a range of  materials expands, the printer can be used many parts of industries with different ways and generalized because of many advantages.
   First, one of the advantages is that a 3D printer can save energy. Recently, many techinques are developed so that environment is destroyed. However, if you use this machine, it is possible to reduce expense of products and energy because you don't need to import or export products by downloading 3D contents from internet at home. Eventually, you can prevent pollution through reducing energy.
   Second, a 3D printer can be cooperated with many parts of industries, and the main point is own taste of consumers. For example, consumers can prescribe medicines using computer by oneself. Many people want to live more long, and healthful, and if they use this machine, they can prescribe more proper medicine so they can take a dose convinently. And also, consumers can make clothes, shoes, accessaries and etc. suited their taste. This printer can make a shape of products, so consumers can choose many designs of clothes what they want. So they can buy clothes in a short time, and more accurately.
   Like this, a 3D printer can be used on various ways on various fields. Therefore. we should develop this machine, so it will be activated many hidden industries.

Profounded and Mysterious Paintings of Pierre Renoir

 

       My favorite painting is 「Dance in the Country」 painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Five years ago, when I took an art class at school, I learned about Auguste Renoir and his paintings. He painted many works, bt I was very impressd with this picture because there was something difficult to find in it. There was a little girl who glances at dancing man and woman. Most people focused on man and woman because they are big in the picture, but I focused on th poor little girl. There are many details, description, interpretion, and evaluation about the painting.

       The original name of the work is 「Danse à la campagne」. We can find the passion that a couple in the country is dancing with being out of dinner. This scene is contrasted with a pair of lovers in the city that just need to participate in social rituals; while paintings of country shows warmth without formality and naturalness, city shows mood of romantic Paris with formality of  the upper classes and elegance. However, it if difficult to find other more detailed information about them expect mood of works. Although couples of two arts have a similar pose, Renoir's angles are a little different. It is a difference of viewpoint, and it affects ways to appreciate works to audiences. In 「Danse à la campagne」, the young woman's smile gazes at us, and via this point, we will follow them actively. on the other hand, the viewpoint of 「Danse à la ville」 completely ignores the spectator's existence. Therefore, spectators just admire the protagonists' side of face and tangled dress. Thse differences would rather reflect the characteristics of each conversation that existence of formality than human relationship.
       Examining the models who come on the scene, while each woman is different, the man is the identica person. It seems to show noble bourgeoise who used to leave for the country for summer vacation at that time. On this point, two works have differences about two women. The real model of  「Danse à la ville」is Suzanne Valadon, who is 17 years old girl. Her grace is in contrast with fullness of Aline Charigot in 「Danse à la campagne」. Through the contrast of two wome, we can know tht Renoir ties to compare with sophitication of the city and health of the country. In addition, this contrast was completed in the background of two paintings, while there are fake plants in the ignition it that the plant in 「Danse à la ville」, a natural chestnut tree are painted on 「Danse à la campagne」.
       When I saw these paintings for the first time, I was shocked. Although I didn't have any background knowledge about art, the pictures impressed me. First, I really liked the color sence. Both paintings are oil paintings on canvas, I felt that paints are spread on paper, and it looks a little bit dreamlike. They are blurred but vivid at the same time. Also, as I said earlier, I liked details such as a little girl next to dancing man. There are not any background details, so I cannot explain about it. But I think that the girl likes te man, so she looks at the couple in secret. I also had one-side love of experience, so I empathize with her. Second, I was impressed by Renoir's delicacy. As I said, he painted a little bit different details of two paintings and I like endemic familiarity of country and gray of city. I think my artistic preference is consistent with Renoir's aristic technique.
       Nowadays, a drama named 'She was pretty' deal with 「Danse à la campagne」 and even a little girl. So this painting becomes more popular recently. As person who like long ago, I am really pleased with popularity of Renoir and his several paintings, particularly 「Danse à la campagne」. I wish to attention about Renoir's paintings is continue for a long time.

A Sustainable Future

   Environment is getting worse, and our sources become scarce. So we need to protect environment and develop efficient ways of conserving more and consuming less. First thing is less use of plastic bag and the other one is more use of product attached environment mark. These two things are simple but important. From now, I will explain how to conserve our environment with two things.
   First, we should use less plastic bag. A plastic bag is nt dacay about for one hundred years. Maybe from one hundred year to five hundred years. It is very long time to decay, so it has a really bad influence on environment. If you burn a plastic bag, it emits environmental hormone, and if you bury on the ground, it is not dacay, so bad for environment. Also, if you throw away a plastic bag on environment carelessly, animasl may eat it. If animals eat it, they become strange, or may die. So we must throw away a plastic bag on recycle, or it is better to not use it.
   Second, we should use more product attached environment mark. Environment mark is attached on eco-friendly product which is useful for enovironment. Attached product is excellendt envorinment effect. And also, there are various kind of marks. For example, there are environmetal certification, excellent recycling certification, saving energy and etc. So if you use more attached product, you can help our polluted environment that much.
  Less use of plastic bag and more use of product attached environment mark is easy to practice, so I'd like to many people action these things, so our environment is getting better than now.

Harry Potter and Hogwarts

  I think everyone in our class knows that 'Harry Potter' series and Hogwarts, which is main characters' school, is the most important place for Harry. In other words, a place named Hogwarts is a main place in novel, and it has a lot of mean for each character such as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The stories are almost centred around the Hogwarts, so any other place should be irreplaceable. From now, I will talk about the reason why this place is important for characters.

 Hogwarts is a very important element of the 'Harry Potter' series because most events happen in Hogwarts. First, Harry was an orphan, and he was raised by his aunt. But they always discriminated with their son and Harry, so he did not think that they are his family. When he goes to Hogwarts, however, his second life begins. He meets many good people, best friends, some rivals like Draco Malfoy, and his hidden existence of godfather named Sirius Black. As Harry spends time in Hogwarts, he feels that Hogwarts is more comfortable and cozy place than any others.

 Second, Harry faces to his enemy, Lord Voldemort. They meet with a various way in Hogwarts in every series. And in last edition, they battle in Hogwarts and Harry and his friends win and finally Lord Voldemort is dead. When Harry was born, Voldemort tried to kill him, but he failed. That is to say, Harry and Lord Voldemort is the beginnig and ending of each other. All of this events happens in Hogwarts.

 For Harry, Hogwarts is the important place unlike his cousin's house because he can easily rest, and  meet many good people and has good memories in Hogwarts. Like Harry Potter, do you guys have an important place for you such as Hogwarts for Harry?

Geotourism : Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do

Nowadays, many countries try to develop tourist industry and preserve environment at the same time. Normally, however, it is not easy to accomplish, so they are in a dilemma. Then Geotourism is one of the best solutions to solve the problem. Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do can be a good example. It is a habitat for rare migratory birds included spectacled teals, and spoonbill. If Seosan-si is famous for main activity area for rare migratory birds, its status is gradually rised.


One possible effects of geotourism in Seosan-si is ecological status. First, Cheonsu bay of Sesan-si is the most famous of habitat of migratory birds, so many ornithologists go there with purpose of research. Then, they would require it to preserve environment and admire of its landscape. Today, many regions have been destoroyed for development and tourism. So this Geotourism can be high in scarcity then the status of Sesan-si is more rising.


Second possible effects of geotourism is revival of local economy. The more tourists are come there, the more revenue can be created. If local economy is rise, life of local people is more better than past. So, it is important to keep clear environment to Seosan-si.
